Terms of Service – Shimmer Craft Creations

These Terms of Service apply when you use the Shimmer Craft Creations website or place an order with us.
Shimmer Craft Creations is a UK sole trader business based in Hampshire, United Kingdom.
By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms together with our Refund & Returns Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy.
1. Our Products
Shimmer Craft Creations creates handmade and personalised gift items, including presentation gift tickets, keepsake cards and other personalised products.
We make every effort to display product colours, designs, foil finishes and images accurately. However, colours and finishes may appear slightly different depending on your device, screen settings, lighting and the handmade nature of our products.
Minor variations associated with handmade production are not considered faults.
2. Presentation Gift Tickets
Our presentation gift tickets and keepsake cards are decorative gift items only.
They are not official admission tickets and are not valid for entry to any event, concert, theatre, venue, attraction, travel service or experience.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Shimmer Craft Creations is not affiliated with, endorsed by or officially associated with any artist, performer, production, venue, sports team, travel company or other organisation referenced for the purpose of personalising a gift item.
Customers are responsible for purchasing any genuine admission, travel or event tickets separately from the appropriate authorised provider.
3. Personalisation
Please provide all personalised information carefully when ordering, including names, dates, wording and other requested details.
Where applicable, we may send a digital proof or mock-up before production.
It is your responsibility to check the proof carefully, including spelling, names, dates and personalised wording.
Once a proof has been approved, production may begin. We cannot normally provide a refund or replacement for an error that was clearly visible in and matches the proof you approved.
If we make an error during production and the finished item does not match the approved proof or order details, we will work with you to put this right.
4. Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product.
We may contact you if additional information is required to complete your personalised order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is a genuine reason to do so, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, inability to fulfil the requested personalisation or content that we are unable to reproduce.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, any amount due back to you will be refunded to the original payment method.
5. Prices and Payment
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP).
The price payable is the price displayed at checkout when your order is placed.
Standard UK delivery is currently free. Any optional upgraded delivery service and its cost will be clearly displayed at checkout before payment.
Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed.
6. Processing and Delivery
We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only.
Orders are normally processed and dispatched within 1–3 working days, Monday to Friday excluding UK public holidays.
Estimated delivery times after dispatch are:
- Standard Delivery: 2–5 working days
- Tracked/Express Delivery: 1–3 working days where selected
Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally be affected by postal delays, severe weather, seasonal demand or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

7. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Many Shimmer Craft Creations products are personalised or made to the customer’s individual specifications.
Personalised or custom-made goods may be cancelled within 24 hours of placing your order. After this cancellation period, production may have begun and personalised or custom-made goods cannot normally be cancelled, returned or exchanged simply because you have changed your mind.
This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not conform to your order.
Any non-personalised goods are subject to the cancellation and return rights that apply under UK consumer law.

8. Damaged, Faulty, Incorrect or Lost Orders
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible and provide your order number, details of the issue and photographs where appropriate.
If an order is confirmed as lost in transit, we will arrange an appropriate replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
9. Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
We may amend, temporarily withdraw or discontinue products where necessary.
If we are unable to fulfil an order after payment has been taken, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the original website content, text, photographs, product photographs, graphics and original designs created by Shimmer Craft Creations remain the property of Shimmer Craft Creations and must not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without permission.
References to third-party names, events, artists, venues, productions or other organisations are used only where relevant to the customer’s requested personalised gift item and do not imply sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation.
Third-party trademarks and intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
11. Website Use
You must not use this website for unlawful purposes, attempt to interfere with its security or operation, introduce malicious software, misuse customer information or reproduce website content without permission.
We may restrict access to the website where reasonably necessary to protect the business, customers or website security.
12. Website Information
We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, prices, delivery information and other website content are accurate.
Occasionally an error may occur. If we discover an error affecting an order you have placed, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and explain the available options.
We will not use these Terms to remove or restrict rights you have under UK consumer law.
13. Third-Party Services
Our online store is hosted by Shopify and may use third-party services to provide payment processing, website functionality and delivery services.
Purchases made through this website are made from Shimmer Craft Creations, not Shopify.
Use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
14. Privacy
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Information provided when placing an order may be shared with service providers where necessary to process payment, manufacture or fulfil your order, operate the website or arrange delivery.
15. Liability and Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits your statutory consumer rights.
Products supplied by Shimmer Craft Creations must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for any purpose made known to us where required by law.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, policies or applicable law.
The version displayed on the website when you place your order will apply to that order unless the law requires otherwise.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Nothing in this section affects any mandatory consumer protections or rights you may have under applicable UK law.
